PLAYING REGULATIONS

2.
Only cricket clubs who enter teams in the relevant age group of the North Cheshire Junior Cricket Association may participate in the NCJCA’s respective age group cup competitions

3.
Participating clubs can only field players in the cup competitions who have played the majority of their cricket, prior to each round, in the NCJCA that season.

4.    Boys must be under 15, 13 or 11 on 1st. September of the year preceding the matches.

The NCJA encourages the development of girl cricketers  and
 demonstrates this by

 a) in competitive matches  permitting girls up to 2 years older than
 the boys' specified age group to play ;

 b) in all friendly matches including  older girl players according to
 their ability.

 This participation is dependent on team managers and coaches being
 satisfied the players are competent to participate and practical
 arrangements are in place, if applicable, in line with ECB 'Safe Hands'
 policy. Team managers with considerable numbers of older girl players
 should advise the opposition manager.  The NCJA will review its
 encouragement of girls' participation annually.
