 Stretton & Grappenhall:

The following email was received for the Stretton/Grappenhall manager this week:-

Brian,
Once again this week we could not raise a team due to exams/work commitments and the same applies for this coming week. Having consulted with the club committee it was decided that it would be best if we withdrew the team for the remainder of the season. Are there any implications in doing so and would you like me to contact the teams affected
Regards,
Chris (Stretton CC)”

As a result of this information all of the future matches against the club will be awarded full points. This is because in a league of eight, not all teams play each other twice.  To cancel the previously awarded points would leave other teams at a disadvantage, in the last three weeks of  the season.
